IV Sedation
It is natural to feel apprehensive when having major dental treatment performed.  Valley Dental Center is pleased to offer Intravenous Sedation to make your dental experience as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
In this process, nitrous oxide is administered to help the patient relax.  Then a needle is inserted into an arm vein.  A medication similar to Valium is administered through the IV.  Although the patient is awake throughout the procedure, he or she will remember nothing of it.  IV sedation allows Dr. D to control exact amount of sedative the patient is receiving.
