Pit and fissure sealants have become a highly effective way to prevent cavities - by blocking plaque from hiding in the grooves of permanent back teeth. Our materials and process are based on the latest reliable technology known to us. Even adults can benefit from sealant placement.

What everyone used to call "fillings" are now much more conservative, tooth-colored, bonded "restorations" (i.e.: tooth is actually rebuilt, not filled like a pothole). When caught early, cavities can now be treated with a minimum of disturbance of the tooth anatomy, often without any need for medication or anesthesia!
