Your examination can include:

• A review of your relevant medical and dental history;
• A conversation with you about any concerns you have with your smile;
• Inspection of head and neck anatomy including skin, lymph nodes and muscles;
• Palpation and listening to your jaw joints (Did you know they should not make any noise?)
• Oral cancer screening of the inside of your mouth, including a scan with our Velscope® - cutting edge technology for early detection;
• Careful measurement of your gum health (periodontal evaluation);
• And, oh yes!! Thorough evaluation of your Teeth for wear and decay.
  
  We may also use X-rays, photographs, and models to make your examination complete. Our use of high speed film means reduced radiation techniques to take all x-ray records.
